Free shuttle, included pickup or promotional transfer?#
A complimentary guest shuttle is an airport ride offered to eligible hotel guests, frequently subject to a schedule or advance reservation. Four Points and The Westin advertise this service. A private guest transfer, as advertised by Tortuga Bay, is a more personal arrival arrangement that must still be coordinated.
A promotional transfer is different. Ocean Blue & Sand, Family Selection at Grand Palladium and Hard Rock publish offers tied to direct reservations, minimum stays or advance forms. If you reserve through Expedia, treat transportation as not included unless your actual voucher explicitly says otherwise. Likewise, «transportation available» is not proof that a transfer is complimentary.

Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana: practical for flights#
Four Points is a conventional hotel in Puntacana Village, near PUJ, but not on the beach. Marriott confirms a complimentary airport shuttle and says reservation required. Punta Cana International Airport also lists a free shuttle specifically for Four Points guests.
The hotel separately advertises a shuttle to Playa Blanca. That is convenient for a short stay, but not equivalent to a beachfront room. This hotel makes particular sense for an early departure, a late arrival or a business trip.
Best for: travelers prioritizing airport convenience rather than an all-inclusive vacation.
Check before booking: shuttle operating hours, confirmed pickup, terminal, return ride and room check-in time.
The Westin Puntacana Resort: a beachfront hotel with a scheduled shuttle#
The Westin sits at Playa Blanca inside Puntacana Resort & Club. Marriott describes a complimentary scheduled airport shuttle and a separate private transportation option for a fee. It is a true beachfront property, although not every rate is all-inclusive.
A scheduled ride and a dedicated driver are not the same service. After an evening flight, verify that a shuttle is operating, where you meet it and whether the hotel needs advance notice. Also check meals, fees and any paid transport alternative.
Best for: couples and families seeking a calm beach stay a short journey from PUJ.

Tortuga Bay Hotel: private airport welcome#
Tortuga Bay is a smaller luxury beachfront hotel within Puntacana Resort & Club. Its official guest amenities include private round-trip transportation from PUJ and VIP airport assistance. This is a hotel guest service, not a free public airport bus.
Share your flight details with the hotel and arrange its arrival procedure in advance. Tortuga Bay asks for VIP assistance to be confirmed 72 hours ahead to help guarantee the experience. Official immigration procedures still apply.
Best for: guests who value personal service and a quiet, high-end welcome.
Check before booking: the specific airport service on your booking, pre-arrival deadline, passenger details and special assistance.
Ocean Blue & Sand: transfer only under an eligible direct offer#
Ocean Blue & Sand is a Bávaro beachfront all-inclusive resort. Ocean by H10 Hotels promotes a free round-trip airport transfer with specific conditions: reserve directly through its website, stay at least three nights, and request transportation at least 72 hours before arrival. A one-way trip is not covered by that same offer.
An Expedia booking does not automatically include the Ocean by H10 promotion. Compare your Expedia room price with the eligible direct package, including all transport costs. Do not count the hotel’s advertised free ride until it is confirmed for your particular booking channel.
Best for: travelers comparing a larger beachfront all-inclusive with a conditional transfer offer.

Family Selection at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro: family package with conditions#
Family Selection is a premium family-oriented accommodation option at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro. Palladium advertises round-trip PUJ transfers under qualifying direct promotional bookings, sometimes with Palladium Rewards benefits. Its published terms require submitting the arrival form at least 72 hours ahead. Dates, rate categories, party size and other restrictions may apply.
That offer is not a general free shuttle for all guests and should not be promised with an Expedia reservation. If you prefer Expedia, compare the room rate and allow for the cost of transportation unless the confirmation explicitly includes it.
Best for: families evaluating room and child benefits alongside a transfer promotion.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana: a tightly restricted offer#
Hard Rock publishes a promotion for complimentary shared round-trip PUJ transport for two people. Eligibility includes a direct hotel booking, at least four nights, a defined booking window and confirmation at least 15 days before arrival. More passengers may be charged, and the hotel expressly excludes third-party online travel agency reservations from this benefit.
Hard Rock is a large entertainment-focused all-inclusive resort, not an airport hotel. When booking through Expedia, arrange and budget a transfer separately unless the specific offer states otherwise.
Best for: travelers planning a longer resort holiday who can compare the complete direct package with third-party rates.

A resort may arrange transportation without including it#
Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is a useful example. Hyatt’s official FAQ says airport transfers are not included in its normal all-inclusive plan. The resort can help arrange a third-party service at an additional cost. Being near PUJ or having all-inclusive meals does not establish a free airport ride.
